My second Bzz campaign brought one of my favorite and also necessary cosmetic products: hair color. The process of coloring my hair started way back, about 25 years ago. Started coloring my hair just for the fun of sporting another hair color. Could never pull of blond in any form, but the range of whatever left except blond, I have tried out. Tried out shades of red, brown, black. All of them. Now I am shifting back to red, but more towards the violet side of it. Was so fortunate to be selected for the Garnier Olia Hair color campaign and the color that I have chosen was Dark Intense Auburn. At first was very skeptical about the no-drip hair color, but indeed, Garnier was right, this hair color was not dripping at all! The end result was very satisfying. As preparation before coloring my hair I have used Colorful Neutral Protein Filler 1.2 oz. from Sally’s beauty supply. My hair is very fine, is getting oily very quickly and it deserves some attention. The protein filler is just great to be used before coloring for such a hair type. What I could not stop was the hair color “bleeding”. Just curious if it will be as bad as for the first time. The Garnier Olia hair color also has conditioner that I have used after coloring; it really gave a shine to my hair and sleekness, but did not stop the hair color from bleeding. We all know that the red hair color fades very quickly, but I am hoping that Garnier Olia will hold a lot more.
