Cheese provides an essential source of calcium and protein and should be
included as part of a balanced diet, but it is also high in fat. Light
String Cheese by Sargento is lower in fat, but still high in taste.
I
had heard a lot about string cheese and seen adverts for various
brands, but I thought that it was the sort of food that would appeal
more to young children as their parents packed up their lunch box for
the day. But on a trip to the supermarket one day, I went over to the
dairy section and started looking closely at the different brands of
string cheese. I settled for a 12 pack of Light String Cheese by
Sargento. The cheese used is reduced
fat low moisture mozzarella cheese, which contains a mild flavour
compared to some other cheeses.
As I enjoy the taste of cheese,
but I also like to watch my fat intake, I decided to give this brand of
string cheese a try to see if I would like it.
When I opened the
packaging, I noticed that the string cheese was individually wrapped
and that it opened easily by pulling the two pieces of wrapper apart. I
tried the string cheese and was instantly hooked. It tasted very good.
Sometimes you can tell when food is lower in fat. The taste is not
always as good, but with this product, the opposite was true.
Here is a summary of the nutrition facts for Light String Cheese by Sargento:

quick, convenient snack that can be eaten throughout the day, or as

Ponds White Beauty BB cream review
I’ve been using the Ponds BB cream for about a week now and reviewing it for you all today.
Was just not familiar with any BB creams before, but I am already using the Smashbox CC cream. I love the my Smashbox CC cream and wasn’t expecting much when Ponds launched their BB cream, since it’s marketed in their fairness line and I personally do not advocate fairness products. I bought this just to try. I got the the regular size with a help of a $3 coupon kindly offered by Ponds. Read on to know how I like it!
The tube is a sturdy white tube with a pink label and a silver cap. It’s attractive and also very convenient to use. The nozzle dispenses the cream very nicely and there are no chances of wastage.
IThe cream is thick, even thicker than Smashbox CC cream. But it blends in decently except on extremely dry areas. I feel it emphasizes dry patches on skin. I have mostly combination-oily skin at summer time but sometimes I do have a little dryness on my cheeks which needs to be moisturized properly before applying this cream.
I found two shades available light and medium.I have debated quite a while what shade to choose and I have chosen the medium one. My decision was made based on the fact that I have way more freckles summer time and my skin looks a bit darker due too this fact. It is blending in properly and with a little powder on top it looks perfect. The cream overall gives a bright look and a nice glow to my face. *happy happy me*
Another good thing about this BB cream for me is its coverage. On regular days, I don’t use concealer and with this cream, 80% of my dark circles are covered and the eye contour area looks radiant. On my face, I don’t need a lot of coverage (for blemishes etc) other than around the eyes and this cream does the job of evening out my skin tone very well.
Although the cream is thick, it doesn’t feel heavy on skin. It feels heavier than my Smashbox CC cream. And with its texture, it makes skin feel very smooth.
I think it’s perfect for normal skinned girls. Because it’s neither moisturizing nor mattifying. On me, it looks natural in the beginning.
It stays on my face for 5-6 hours but my face gets shiny if don’t powder it. This is not an ideal product for oily skinned girls but I like using it for the nice coverage and natural finish.
Overall, it’s a really good BB cream. It is packaged well, comes at an affordable price. It gives a very natural finish and gives good coverage. It’s not so great for oily skin but what are powders for?

Kashi Hummus chips
Kashi has brought the delicious taste of
hummus to a wonderful air-popped crisp, which is almost like a cross
between a chip and a cracker.
This brand comes in three different flavors, Sea Salt and Olive Oil,
Caramelized Onion, and Sundried Tomato Basil & Feta. I actually
received the Sea Salt and Olive Oil flavor.
I've had some mixed experiences with several other brands of healthy snacks,
so I initially wasn’t too sure what to expect with the Kashi Hummus
Crisps. I am not as familiar with hummus, and didn’t know how these would pan out. Would
they taste bland, almost like a plain old rice cake ?
All my worries asside, these were DELICIOUS! This goes to show you that you can't judge a book
by its cover, or in this case a snack by its bag! Kashi Hummus Crisps
are not overpowering and they’re not bland, either. In fact, they offer
just the right amount of taste without being too salty. Light and Airy,
these snacks are definitely flavorful with the right amount of seasoning.
What’s even better, Kashi Hummus Crisps are the safe snacking option
for many. They contain no high fructose corn syrup or partially
hydrogenated oils ---oh, and no artificial anything for that matter!
Each serving is a whopping 27 crisps, made with five grams of whole
grain, three grams of fiber, and three grams of protein (from chick peas
and whole grains). This means you can feel good about snacking on these
yummy treats without all of the guilt that you may typically feel with
some of the other brands out there.
If you are looking for a delicious no-guilt snacking experience, then I highly recommend giving Kashi Hummus Crisps a try.
